Katelyn Kimberlin is an emerging music marketing professional and freelance creative based in New York City. She is a recent graduate of The New School, obtaining a Master of Arts in Creative Publishing and Critical Journalism. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from the University of Mississippi.

She has over five years of experience in writing, photography and graphic design. Her work focuses on both local and popular culture, music scenes and navigating life as a Southerner in the Northeast.

Kimberlin has worked at multiple publications concurrent with her academic career, including Public Seminar, Square Magazine, and The Daily Mississippian.

She was a part of The Daily Mississippian staff that won the 2019-2020 Associated College Press Newspaper Pacemaker Award.

In her free time, Kimberlin is an avid broadway go-er, self-proclaimed pastry chef, and trinket collector.
